Who was the NFL kicker who suffered a broken nose on the field and they showed on TV?There was an NFL game in recent years (90's or 2000's) where the kicker had to run with the ball, he got tackled and he suffered a broken nose and the camera caught him coming off the play and his nose was crooked on his face – gross. But can't remember who it was or what teams/game it was.

"When both teams foul during a play, the penalties will generally offset and the down replayed at the previous line of scrimmage. Under NFL rules, if one of the penalties is a 5-yard penalty and the other is a 15-yard penalty, the 5-yard penalty is declined by rule and the 15-yard penalty is enforced from the previous line of scrimmage no matter where the ball wound up at the end of the play. The only exception to this five/fifteen rule is when there is a possession change during the down. Under this situation, the penalties would offset"
So, normally you would be right, but because the play was a punt, the exception applied.
It comes down to the player, the team trainer and medical opinion.
It's really a combination of things. Unlike any other major sport, you're talking about athletes with an unusual combination of both speed and power. You have players that weigh over 300 lbs. who can run like the wind. The game itself moves so fast, and there is action going on all the time, which is something fans like to see. And the precision of the game is second to none. You have 11 players on a team who must be in sync with one another on every single play, like a well oiled machine. Finally, football is a physical game, and by nature, like it or not, people are drawn to this. As a fan, when you see a player or players on your team pounce on the opposing team's ball carrier and knock the stuffing out of him, you get a "rush" unlike anything you get or feel in any other sport. Or when your team returns a kickoff or punt back for a touchdown. Nothing like it. Hope this helps.

Yeah, Qwest field looks amazing. I think it's the best looking stadium in the NFL.
Other good ones must be Lambeau Field and Arrowhead Stadium. I bet they are sort of like a museums because of all the history there.
The only one I've been to is Giants Stadium. The traffic was terrible (as always in NJ) and it didn't feel welcoming. I hope the new Meadowland Stadium is better.
