Fans will see an early 12:10 pm kickoff in this FSN televised game.

College football picks oddsmakers list the Longhorns as 23 1/2 chalk favorites with a 52 1/2 total. Bears backers are getting +1100 odds as a home underdog while Texas is giving -2000 odds.

The Bears (4-5, 1-4) snapped a four-game losing streak with a 40-32 upset at Missouri last Saturday. Baylor is 2-3 at home this season and has lost its last two games in Waco. The Bears covered the 15-point spread, while the final score played OVER the day’s posted total of 45.

The Longhorns (9-0, 5-0) are undefeated and ranked second nationally in both the USA Today Coaches’ and Associated Press top 25 polls. Texas is coming off a 35-3 win over Central Florida Saturday in Austin and is 9-0 for the first time since the 2005 season when it won the BCS championship. Colt McCoy led Texas with three touchdown passes versus the Knights.

The Longhorns did not cover the large 35.5-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the day’s posted total of 48.

College Football Picks: The Longhorns can hardly afford to overlook the improving Bears who are currently 4-5 and a team that needs wins to get bowl qualified. This game is overlined favoring the visiting Longhorns. Take the points and play the Bears in this one.

Why not?
I'm the commissioner of my league's Yahoo Pro Football Pick 'Em. The first week is deadline is drawing to a close for my friends to all submit their picks for tonight's game. The interface shows me that everyone has made their selections and this week's picks, but for some reason, I am not able to see who they have all selected. Is this setup in this fashion on purpose? I'd hoped everyone would be able to see eachother's picks and not just their results. It would be more fun that way. Does anyone have any ideas? I've read through all of the options and help menus and can't decide if I'd made a wrong selection somewhere. My hope is to be able to see other people's (teams) picks. We have the default Private group, but I don't believe that makes a huge difference — only hides it from non-members. Any insight anyone has will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Denver Broncos Vs. Indianapolis Colts Sunday Night NFL Football Picks : denver broncos vs indianapolis colts december 13 The Denver Broncos shocked the NFL by starting perfect on the season, the Indianapolis Colts—well not so much.

The Broncos (8-4) sailed through their first six games, winning all of them, but came back to Earth when they lost four straight. Now, winners of two straight and leaders in the AFC Wild-Card race, Denver can show that they have truly come back by handing the Colts (12-0) their first loss of the season and put a stop to their 21-game regular season winning streak.

Denver is looking for a big win over a quality opponent. They defeated the New York Giants on Thanksgiving at home, but most figured the Giants’ were heading in the wrong direction until they dismantled the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. They followed that up with an easy 44-13 win over the division rival Kansas City Chiefs, in which they ran for a season-high 245 yards on the ground.

Denver Broncos Vs. Indianapolis Colts Sunday Night NFL Football Picks

The biggest surprise of the Broncos season had been their defense, but during their losing streak it resorted to looking like one of the worst in the league that Denver had over the past couple of seasons, but they limited have allowed an average of just 244.5 total yards during their two-game winning streak.

Two-game winning streaks are merely a drop in the bucket for the team going for the NFL record for consecutive regular season wins. A win on Sunday will give Indianapolis the honor, snapping the record set from 2006-2008 by the New England Patriots.

In the Colts’ latest win, 27-17 over a surging Tennessee Titans team last Sunday, Indianapolis clinched the AFC South title for the sixth time in seven years and have moved one-step closer to the inevitable outcome of having a first-round bye and the playoffs going through Indianapolis.

It is no surprise that Peyton Manning is once again leading the onslaught with an NFL-best 3685 yards. Manning is on pace for another MVP season and has had quite a solid supporting staff with Reggie Wayne going over 1000 yards receiving last week and tight end Dallas Clark knocking on the door with 859.

Manning threw for a pedestrian (for Peyton) 193 yards with a more Peyton-like three touchdowns the last time these AFC foes met in September of 2007, a 38-20 Colts win in Indianapolis. Denver last won on the road against the Indianapolis Colts in 2003 and have lost seven of the last 10 overall.

But there are still a handful of preseason games remaining. Let’s take a look at three of the matchups from Friday night. All lines are courtesy online sportsbook SPORTSBETTING.com NFL Picks Houston Texans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Lines: Houston: – 3 Over/Under: 34 Both teams are 1-2 going into the last preseason game. Houston will sit gimpy QB Matt Schaub to rest his ankle for the home opener against the Jets. Second-string quarterback Rex Grossman has a hamstring injury but will see limited duty. Dan Orlovsky will start and look to improve on his last performance against the Vikings in week three where he completed seven-of-11 passes for 74 yards, with an interception and no touchdowns. Keep an eye on WR Jacoby Jones to continue his strong preseason and rookie running back Arian Foster to get most of the carries. Rookie LB Brian Cushing could see his first preseason action. Tampa Bay is entering this game after having fired Offensive Coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski and will look to open up the playbook to get better results than their first three games. The Bucs have named Byron Leftwich their starting QB and he will sit this one out handing the reigns over to highly touted rookie Josh Freeman. Luke McCown will also see some time as the Bucs have been quietly shopping him this week. Tampa will sit most of their starters and rely on a backfield of B.J. Askew and Clifton Smith. Small lean to the home team at +3 Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings Minnesota: – 3 Over/Under: 36 The Cowboys at 1-2 take on the Vikings in Minnesota who are looking to go 4-0 in preseason. Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson and the rest of the Vikings starters are out. Tarvaris Jackson will start and word is the Vikes are shopping him around the league. Top wide-out Bernard Berrian is still out after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury. Dallas is 1-2 in preseason and will likely rest all of their starters. Roy Williams will sit out to rest his sore shoulder. The Cowboys are looking to play most of the 3rd and 4th string players. Proceed at your own risk San Francisco 49ers at San Diego Chargers San Diego: – 3.5 Over/Under: 37 The last preseason game mercifully wraps up in San Diego with the Niners in town. San Francisco is 3-0 in preseason and the Chargers are 1-2. The Niners will likely go with fifth round pick Nate Davis at quarterback for most of the game. He led the 49ers on an 88 yard scoring drive last week against the Cowboys. His play resulted in the release this week of 12-year veteran Damon Huard. Alex Smith is out with a hand injury and starter Shaun Hill will see limited action. Hill has completed 14-of-26 passes for 140 yards without a touchdown or interception during the exhibition period to date. The running game has been impressive gaining 5.0 yards per rush. Rookie Glen Coffee has 230 yards on 38 carries and free agent Kory Sheets has 144 on 33 carries and 3 touchdowns. The Chargers are looking to get most of their starters in for one or two series. LaDainian Tomlinson and Darren Sproles will not play. Running back Michael Bennett has three td’s in the preseason and is making a strong push to make the 53-man roster. Small lean to the Chargers Free Football Contest: Join the Internet’s biggest free football contests, Pigskin Pick 14 and the Gridiron Challenge.
Expert football picks is one of the ways to find out who could possibly win in the next football game of the season. Gambling has been one of the favorite pastimes of people, and anything can be gambled on nowadays. Football is not an exception.

The Internet is an excellent resource of information regarding football. You can check on stats and rankings, standings on the Internet. But before you make a bet make sure that you are knowledgeable enough to know what you’re getting into.

First off, read on the game. Football gambling involves money, and if you don’t know how to manage it, chances are, you’re going to lose money. It would be best if you would go online and search for information; articles and websites that would let you in on the tricks of the trade. It would also do you good to know something about the game than nothing at all.

These articles will also give you information on expert football picks and what they can do for you. People would actually tell you on who they think would win on the next game. They would also tell you what they think the final score will be. They will actually be predicting the outcome of the next game. These people are called handicappers.

Handicappers are people who would allow you a sneak peek on what could possibly happen in the next game. They have spent a lot of time and effort in studying each and every team and player in the industry. Especially if you are still starting out in the business, these expert football picks would help you a lot. These people are very well-versed with the game.

One thing that you can count on is the experience of the handicapper. The longer he has been in the business, the higher the percentage that his predictions will be correct. This is due to the long hours of observation and studying the players and the teams as well. Experience is the basis of their credibility. They would be charging a fee for their services, or they could also ask for a percentage from your winnings.

There are several things that are considered in making a pick. This may include the strength of the team during the last 5 games. It could be the overall strengths and weaknesses of the team. It will all depend on the game plan of the handicapper, and it is all up to you who you will follow and which team you’ll be placing your bet on.

Having a handicapper is not a requirement, but it will surely save you the time and the effort of having to study the teams’ performance. Plus, if you’re new to the league, these are the gurus of the game. So they would be able to help you a lot in making a decision on which you’re going to pick and who you’re going to trust with your money.

As mentioned earlier, there are no guarantees with regard to football gambling. Expert football picks are there to help you decide on which to pick according to someone who have had experience in the game. In the end, it is still going to be your decision.

The New Orleans Saints officially have the bragging rights associated with being atop betrepublic NFL power rankings for three straight weeks, more than any other team. After an unbelievable comeback performance from the Saints, they remain at the pinnacle of the rankings.

Another team that entered Sunday with its undefeated credentials intact got handed its first loss this week. The Vikings lost to the Steelers, but fell just two spots to No. 5. Meanwhile, the Steelers continue to climb and claw their way back towards the top spot, checking in this week at No. 4.

Sorry, Patriots fans, heading into the bye Tom Brady and crew stay at No. 6 following their obliteration of the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Old Country.

The Arizona Cardinals continue to ascend the rankings, this time leaping seven spots into the top 10 at No. 8. The largest collapse in the rankings takes us to the “Windy City.” The Bears plummet nine spots and now sit at No.20 after a dismal performance against the Bengals.

For a league that prides itself on parity, there are a lot of good teams and a lot of awful teams. For that reason, there wasn’t much movement at the bottom as many teams are getting comfortable in their lowly spots, where they cannot escape the wafting stench of their first-half performances.

New Orleans Saints1. (Last week, 1) 6-0-0 Thirty-six points in one half is pretty impressive. Great teams in the NFL are never out of games and the Saints proved they can come back from any deficit. This win will definitely be a confidence builder for the Saints. Quick stats to throw out: Saints are scoring 39.7 points per game. They have scored 238 points so far this season; that is the second most in NFL history through six games.

2. (2) 6-0-0 Peyton Manning is playing better than he ever has in his career. Since Manning has been playing so well, the Colts defense has fallen below the radar. Indy’s D is giving up just 12.8 points a game. That’s the second best in the league.

Denver Broncos3. (4) 6-0-0 Six straight wins deserves five days off according to Josh McDaniels. The rookie head coach gave his team the time off and they will be fresh, well rested and prepared to take on the Ravens in Baltimore on Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers 4. (8) 5-2-0 Heading into the bye, the Steelers are finally looking like the defending Super Bowl champs. Let’s see how the defensive line responds to the loss of Aaron Smith. The loss of Smith could be just as damaging as if the Steelers had lost Troy Polamalu for the season.

Minnesota Vikings5. (3) 6-1-0 The Vikings ran into a very hot Steelers team at Heinz Field and the result was a loss. The Vikings turned the ball over in the red zone and that killed them. Minnesota should be able to fix its mistakes and move on. Exciting matchup next Sunday, when Brett Favre travels back to Green Bay.

New England Patriots 6. (6) 5-2-0 The Patriots head into their bye week at a perfect time as they are a little beat up. Ty Warren and Randy Moss were the latest Patriots players to suffer injuries. This is a good time for the Pats to heal up and prepare for a tough schedule ahead. Miami, @ Indy, Jets, and @ New Orleans will be no easy task.

Cincinnati Bengals7. (9) 5-2-0 After a poor performance last week against the Texans, the Bengals came out firing. Cincinnati demolished the Bears and made a statement to the NFL. If Carson Palmer continues to trend towards being the quarterback that he was a couple seasons ago, the Bengals will be a tough opponent week after week.

Arizona Cardinals8. (15) 4-2-0 Huge win for the Cardinals in New York on Sunday night. Beanie Wells introduced himself as a playmaking running back and he complimented that offense nicely. The Cardinals can build off a great win in New York – their first win at the Meadowlands since 1999.

9. (5) 5-2-0 The Giants beat themselves on Sunday and uncharacteristically turned the ball over four times. The Giants are still one of the best teams in the NFC and will surely fix those mistakes and bounce back with better performances down the road.

Green Bay Packers10. (10) 4-2-0 Aaron Rodgers finally had the luxury of a strong run game on Sunday against the Browns. The Packers QB turned in another great performance but it was against one of the most putrid teams in the National Football League. Rodgers and the Packers face a real test this Sunday against the Vikings. The last time these two teams played, Rodgers was sacked eight times.

Dallas Cowboys11. (20) 4-2-0 The Dallas defense was finally able to rush the quarterback and that resulted in a win against a pretty solid team. Dallas was able to get to Matt Ryan four times and force two interceptions. The NFC East division title is suddenly a reality again for the Cowboys with the Giants suffering their second straight loss.

12. (7) 4-2-0 The Falcons are allowing over 350 yards per game on defense. One of the main reasons is because of the defensive line’s inability to put pressure on the quarterback. The Falcons need to improve in that area before they take on Drew Brees and the Saints on Monday night or else they are in for a long evening.

13. (13) 3-3-0 The Ravens are well rested and should be well prepared to give the Broncos their first loss of the season. Let’s see if Baltimore will be able to eliminate stupid penalties. If the Ravens can play smart football, they’ll need their struggling cornerbacks to find a way to contain Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal; if they can do that, Joe Flacco will do the rest.

New York Jets14. (14) 4-3-0 The Raiders were just what the doctor ordered for Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets. Despite the loss of Leon Washington, the Jets run game stepped up and rushed the ball for over 300 yards. Shonn Green filled in nicely for Washington. The Jets need to rely on their run game and have Mark Sanchez manage games instead of being the main playmaker.

15. (16) 4-2-0 You can’t take much from a win against the Redskins. Washington beat themselves more than the Eagles dominated. Philadelphia now will square off against the Giants and Cowboys in back-to-back weeks. These two divisional games will say a lot about what kind of team the Eagles are.

16. (17) 3-3-0 The San Diego Super Chargers dismantled a bad Chiefs team. They still haven’t demonstrated that they can make plays on the defensive side of the ball. The Chargers will have a tough time winning a wild card spot with teams like the Ravens, Jets, and Bengals all looking like stronger teams to this point of the season.

Houston Texans17. (19) 3-3-0 After back-to-back wins, the Texans are starting to look like a team that can have a winning record. Matt Schaub and the Texans offense continues to play well. Schuab now leads the league in passing yards and touchdown passes.

Miami Dolphins18. (18) 2-4-0 The Dolphins have a 2-0 record in the AFC East division with the easy part of their schedule ahead of them. However, don’t count on this Chad to be able to lead the Dolphins to the a playoff spot. Chad Henne is no Pennington and showed his lack of experience in the second half against the Saints when the Dolphins needed him most.

San Francisco 49ers19. (12) 3-3-0 Despite his good performance, it’s tough to believe Alex Smith is the solution at the quarterback position for the 49ers. Smith has the potential but has been unable to prove he can win games. It doesn’t get easier for the 49ers next week, when they’ll be at Indianapolis.

Chicago Bears20. (11) 3-3-0 Jay Cutler threw three more interceptions on Sunday and now has 10 interceptions on the year.

Buffalo Bills21. (23) 3-4-0 The Bills were able to win their third game of the season but struggled again offensively.

Do you like Football? Is this even a question? I mean, who doesn’t like football? Football is a real entertatining sports both for the audience and the playes and other officials. If you are also one of the people who enjoy the game as an audience, then here is a good way to amplify the enjoyment of watching NFL football. How? What you need to do is to bet on online sports betting forums. Online sports betting forums offer many NF football picks that you can use to bet your money on. With these, you will enjoy the game more. You’ll get more extatic when the team you bet on wins. You’ll get more uneasy when the team you bet on is on a close game or a losing game. Either way, it is guaranteed that you’ll enjoy the watching NFL football by betting with NFL fottball picks.

It is easy to find an online sports betting forum, sign up and bet on your favoured team. However, it is not easy to choose a team. Sure, there are cases that a team you like would definitely win especially when they have a strong lineup and a great strategy. However, there is always a good chance that that team would lose. So no matter what you do, you must think carefully and analyze things deeper before you place your bet. If you’re not sure what strategy you could do to earn a lot of money by betting on NFL football picks, then here are some strategies you could try.

The first strategy would be to use a minimum amount of money when placing a bet. This involves smaller risk. With a smaller risk, you can assure that you won’t be losing too much money whenever you lose the bet. However, if you win, there isn’t much money earned with this strategy. If you want a killer betting strategy, then read the next one.

This strategy is a killer betting strategy because whatever happens, someone will lose money. In this strategy, you would double up the money you use on a bet whenever you lose one. For example, you have 20,000 units. You bet on one game, and you’ll use a minimum of 100 units as bet. When you lose, on the next game you’ll bet on, you should double up the amount you use to bet meaning that on the next bet, you’ll use 200 units. If you win, you should return to the minimum amount. If you would lose again, then double up again. If you double up, you’ll gain a large amount of money even bigger than the ones that you have lost. This is a great strategy because when you win after doubling, you will have gained more than of what you have lost. Be careful though. If your losing streak lengthens greatly, then you might lose more money than what you’ll gain the next time you win.

NFL Football Picks is a great way to enjoy the gain even more and can also be an alternative source of income. Bet properly and you’ll really be extatic.

A few months ago I asked myself this question;”Is there any way to watch NFL Football for free?”, when I was trying to find a way to watch NFL football on my PC. After surfing on the net for hours in order to find an appropriate program, I finally found it. It was a program that allowed me to access several channels; the most important thing is that I could watch NFL football for free.

The software was working well for two weeks, however on the third week I could not find the channel that I previously accessed. It was a few minutes before the game started. Fortunately I found it quickly. The program was similar to the previous one; however there was an unexpected problem such as slow buffering process and it was disconnected frequently.

I finally gave up. I told my friend the problem I was facing and he introduced me a software. I never thought of spending my money on that kind of software, but this software changed my mind.

After telling the story to my other friends, they checked out the software on the net and they were shocked. They could actually watch NFL football games and still get access to more than 3,000 channels.

I advised them that they can save more than $1000 every year if they switched their monthly TV subscription they have at home to this software. The reason they believe me is that I suddenly can treat them dinner, which I never did before.

I wasted a lot of time looking for a good software that will work well for long time but in fact there was not any. I could have saved that time if I only I knew about this software early and was willing to spend just a low one time price for this program. It is not about the time only but small portion of the stress as well.

It happened to me alright, I hope it will not happen to you. I believe the value of time is greater compared to the money we spend.

I can say that this software is literally free, because:

    * I can have unlimited lifetime access after paying only a one time payment

    * I do not have to waste my time anymore to look for another software again, i can use my time to do other things

    * I do not have to worry about missing any NFL games no more

    * I saved my money that i used to spend for my months TV subscription

Watch NFL football for free is not impossible.

I certainly hope that this article could be a valuable reading for you. Did you know that you can re-watch the NFL game you missed with this software?

Don’t delay, claim your own software now, i invite you to visit watch NFL Football for free for the review, you’ll be amazed.

From gamblerstelevision.com JaMarcus Russell will enter training camp in July as the number-1 signal-caller for the Raiders. The 2007 number-1 draft pick for the Silver and Black missed all of training camp last season because he couldn’t come to terms on a contract with Oakland. Russell sports a cannon arm and strong body, however he lacks experience with only 2 starts during the final 2 weeks of last season. In his first start at Jacksonville, he struggled going 7 and 23 for 83 yards, 1 …
Help answer the question about nfl football
What do you think the reason is that the most popular sport in America is NFL football?
Being a football fan is a year 'round job.
Say what you want about Thursday Night Football taking away from tradition but that Pittsburgh loss to Cleveland has revealed an element to this Sunday’s card that was nearly impossible to imagine before kickoff.

Baltimore, Miami and the New York Jets are the teams most affected by the outcome and while the importance of winning this weekend was always high, the opening to a playoff door just got wider.

The Denver Broncos are still in the driver’s seat atop the Wild Card standings and Jacksonville controls its own destiny, but news out of Florida on Friday is that Rashean Mathis (groin), Mike Sims-Walker (calf) and John Henderson (shoulder) are all doubtful for Sunday’s matchup vs. the Dolphins. It has sent the line tumbling and has all but guaranteed you won’t be catching the Ravens or Jets looking past their games against lesser opponents.

Ahhh, football in December… you’ve gotta love it.

Week 14 NFL Picks

A successful 4-1 Sunday in Week 13 helped turn our overall record back in the right direction. We’ve now posted winning records in three of the past four weeks (12-9, 57-percent) and look to continue with five more best bets for Sunday.

GREEN BAY (8-4) AT CHICAGO (5-7)
Line: Packers -3.5
Over/Under: 41
Two teams full of hope when they met in Week 1 go head to head and the picture is a lot clearer now. Green Bay has won four in a row (3-1 ATS) and is in line for a Wild Card if season ended today. The Packers defense has done its job despite injuries while Chicago’s never seemed to rise above loss of Brian Urlacher. Biggest improvement in Green Bay has been protection for QB Rodgers. Pack has allowed only eight sacks in the past four games compared with average of 4.5 per game through first nine weeks. The field goal line has come with a price all week but buying down here with a divisional road favorite is a wise move.
BetRepublic.com Pick: Take the Packers

DETROIT (2-10) AT BALTIMORE (6-6)
Line: Ravens -13.5
Over/Under: 39.5
It’s rarely a good alternative handing the ball to a QB who last engineered a win over two years ago but given the state of the Lions’ season and the condition of QB Stafford; Daunte Culpepper is the best alternative for Jim Schwartz. Detroit can’t get any worse at turnovers; they are already leading that category and with Culpepper using this game as a live audition for another roster in 2010 we expect a decent performance. Baltimore should also refocus after losing on Monday at Green Bay and the Ravens are known to put up plenty of points against bad defensive teams.
BetRepublic.com Pick: Take the “Over”

MIAMI (6-6) AT JACKSONVILLE (7-5)
Line: Jaguars -3
Over/Under: 44
Just as the Dolphins are starting to hit full-stride it appears the Jaguars could be ready to stumble. Jacksonville shrugged off its second disappointing visit to the west coast this season by winning a crucial game against the Texans last week. Miami pulled off an upset that rivals Cleveland’s feat and now has the scent of the AFC East title. QB Henne threw for a career high 335 yards last week, RB Williams is on track for 1,000 yards and special teams are solid. If the defense can keep RB Jones-Drew in check we like Miami’s chances of possibly winning straight-up.
BetRepublic.com Pick: Take the Dolphins

SAN DIEGO (9-3) AT DALLAS (8-4)
Line: Cowboys -3
Over/Under: 48.5
It’s not often you find a division leader that’s playing its best football of the season getting this many points but Dallas has a home record that warrants the number. Sportsbooks are looking for balanced action, too, and the Cowboys win vs. the Giants last weekend has attracted support. There is something about those Cowboy home victories that has us liking the dog in this contest. Carolina, Atlanta, Seattle, Washington and Oakland have a combined road record of 6-24 SU (.200) while San Diego is 5-1 SU away from home and 2-0 in non-Conference play.
BetRepublic.com Pick: Take the Chargers

WASHINGTON (3-9) AT OAKLAND (4-8)
Line: Redskins -1
Over/Under: 37.5
The Skins were oh so close to dethroning the undefeated Saints last week and now travel to the west coast to face a Raiders team who, by all accounts, just won its Super Bowl for the year in Pittsburgh. We look for the Redskins to play hard on both sides of the ball and not fall victim to the black hole but think that defense from both teams will have a greater say in determining this outcome. Betting the total in this game holds more appeal to us than either side.
BetRepublic.com Pick: Take the “Under”

Last Week: 4-1
Overall Record: 35-31 (Sides: 24-23; Totals: 11-8)
